Narrative Strategy for Movements, Media & Institutions

Rooted in Indigenous values, media fluency, and equity-centered storytelling.

What I do

Senior marketing and communications leader working at the intersection of narrative strategy, public affairs, culture, and systems change.

Narrative & Communications Leadership

I lead enterprise-level narrative and communications strategy for nonprofits, healthcare systems, and public-facing institutions, helping organizations build trust, navigate complexity, and align storytelling with mission and impact.

Public Affairs & Media Strategy

With a background in journalism and media relations, I design message architecture that travels across press, policy, and popular culture, supporting visibility, credibility, and long-term reputational strength.

Culture, Identity & Power

Through both institutional work and creative platforms, I explore how narratives shape identity, equity, health, and belonging, and how storytelling can function as a power-building strategy rather than a reactive tool.

Current Leadership

I currently serve as Director of Marketing & Communications at United American Indian Involvement (UAII), one of the largest urban Native nonprofits in the United States.

In this role, I advise executive leadership and the board, lead enterprise-wide communications across healthcare, behavioral health, housing, youth services, and cultural programs, and steward narrative strategy in complex, high-visibility environments.

My work centers cultural accountability, operational clarity, and long-term trust.
